Digital Literacy is set of skills and knowledge that includes various types of information systems that enable an individual to successfully participate and be a part of the greater society.

• It is relevant to teaching and learning because:
• It ensures success to a great  extent (job opportunities, being part of different communities, communication, etc)
• Set of Skills that are important to participate in the society (collaboration, leadership, data analysis, data mining, high order thinking with expert systems, etc)
• Enables greater depth of understanding knowledge (using softwares, simulation, etc)
• Society expect you to be digitally literate
